Meilin is a first-year Echols and College Science Scholar pursuing the Physics B.S. and Economics B.A. at University of Virginia. He is a member of UVA’s Society of Physics Students and actively competes on the club badminton team. In his free time he enjoys playing tennis and discussing problems behind the blackboard with friends.
Before college, he attended the Math and Science Academy at Ocean Lakes High School, where he was involved in Scholastic Bowl at the national level and competed with Varsity Tennis. Outside of school, he was a classically trained pianist and avid badminton player. In 2024, he graduated salutatorian and was awarded the Dolphin Medallion.
